Battery Monitor Privacy Policy
Battery Monitor Privacy Policy
About this policy
This policy describes how Battery Monitor, provided by Aktyva konsaltynh technologies, handles information in its current Android application. Privacy questions may be sent to mateuszbednarski696@gmail.com.
Information accessed and stored
Battery Monitor accesses battery information supplied by Android: charge percentage, charging status, power source, temperature, voltage and battery technology, where available. These readings are used to display your device’s current battery information. Availability depends on your device.
When you start a monitoring session, the app records battery percentages and observation timestamps. It saves session start and end times, recorded observations and whether you have marked a session as a report. It uses these records to display timelines, elapsed time, starting and ending levels, percentage point changes, observation counts and totals across sessions.
The app also stores your preferences, including temperature units, lower and upper alert thresholds and whether alerts are enabled. Sessions, reports and preferences are saved in private app storage on your device. Current temperature, voltage, status, power source and technology readings are displayed but are not included in saved session observations.
The app does not require an account. The inspected implementation does not access contacts, location, photos, microphone recordings, financial information or health records.
Monitoring and notifications
Monitoring starts when you choose to start a session. Leaving the app ends and saves the active session. The app does not provide background monitoring.
If you enable battery level alerts, the app uses Android notifications to show your battery percentage and whether a threshold has been reached. Android 13 and later require notification permission. You can disable alerts in the app or manage notification permission in Android settings. Notifications are checked when Android supplies a reading while the app is open, so they may be delayed. Their visibility is also affected by your device’s notification settings.
Collection, transmission and sharing
Battery readings and saved records are processed locally. The current implementation does not upload them to the developer or operate an app account or remote storage service. It does not include advertising, analytics or third-party crash-reporting SDKs, and it does not sell or share recorded battery data with advertisers or analytics providers.
The Android manifest declares Internet permission, but the inspected application flow does not use it to transmit battery readings, sessions, reports or preferences. The application uses Android, Jetpack Compose, Kotlin and related interface and runtime libraries.
Android backup and device transfer
The app allows Android backup. Depending on your device, Android settings and backup provider, locally saved app data may be included in system backups or transferred to another device. Those processes are managed by Android and your backup provider under their own settings and privacy practices.
Storage and security
The app saves records and preferences using Android’s private app storage, which relies on operating-system access controls. The inspected implementation does not add separate application-level encryption. Because the app does not implement a data upload service, encryption in transit is not applicable to its ordinary battery-monitoring functions. System backup protection is managed separately by your backup provider. No storage or security measure can guarantee absolute protection.
Retention and deletion
Saved sessions, reports and preferences remain in local app storage until that storage is cleared or the app is uninstalled. The app does not implement automatic expiration or an in-app control for deleting individual sessions or reports.
You can remove locally saved data through Android settings by clearing Battery Monitor’s app storage or uninstalling the app. Clearing storage also resets your preferences. Backup copies may remain subject to your backup provider’s retention and deletion settings, and restoring a backup may restore app data.
You may send privacy or deletion questions to mateuszbednarski696@gmail.com. The developer cannot remotely access or delete records stored only on your device. No dedicated in-app deletion-request process is implemented.
Privacy correspondence
If you contact the privacy email address, your email address and any information you choose to include will be available to the recipient and the email services involved in delivering the message. Avoid including unnecessary personal information. Specific retention periods and handling procedures for privacy correspondence are not established by the inspected application or supplied information.
Children’s privacy
Battery Monitor is a battery information utility. A specific intended age audience has not been established by the supplied information. The current implementation has no account, advertising or analytics features and does not transmit children’s personal information to the developer through its battery-monitoring functions. Questions about a child’s information may be sent to the privacy contact below.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the app’s features or information handling. Any revised policy should describe the practices of the version to which it applies. The current app does not implement a dedicated policy-change notification feature.
